Some programs automatically send the program to Quick Install but you cannot see them there.
So when you get this kind of error message, you cannot find the program on Quick Install to delete it.
How do I get rid of this message on my log as it comes up on every sync.

Install failed: C:\Palm\ReaburC0\Install\English_WordNet.pdb
The memory in your handheld may be full. To check the available memory, select Menu/Info from the handheld's Application Launcher.
Install synchronization failed

Hi Cherie-
I believe you are out of memory on your Treo. You can free up space by deleting unused applications, old emails, photos..etc.

Once you free up space, you should be able to complete your install.

Some programs do not give you a chance to tell it to instal on the device or the SD card. It just says it will instal on next hot sync. I want to install this program (9.95 dictionary) on the SD card. How do I do that?

How do I get rid of this message especially if I cannot move this program to the SD card.

So if you open the PalmOne Quick Install app, you don't see the app in the window to be installed?
Typically to install an app on either your treo's ram or sd card you would double click the file. This will automatically open the quick install app and place the file in the handheld install window. If you want it to go onto your sd card, just drag it to the bottom window "expansion card".
You could always use a card reader to install the file to an sd card as well.

Can't you just move the program to the card after you installed it on the treo??

She appears to be having a problem with it not wanting to install on the treo in the first place.

Have you never double clicked a program and it automatically installs on the Treo when you do a hot sync? It does not appear on the quick install screen. That is my problem. I can't see it to delete it so it doesn't keep attempting to instal.

No I haven't. It always places it in the PalmOne Quick install app.
Try going into your program files: Local Disk C:> Program files> PalmOne> user name folder> quickinstall> handheld and see if the file is in that folder.

Good suggestion except there was nothing in the file. If you have never had this happen (automatically installs) then maybe I have something set up wrong with my quick install program?
