Hi,
Does anyone know of a good/reliable instant messenger for Treo 650? I use yahoo and msn. I have tried IM+, and a couple others that would not connect...

Verichat, works pretty fine. It combines Yahoo, MSN and AIM.

NO problems with IM+ here! Verichat is very popular, but you better be a heavy chatter to pay that annual fee!

I also sugegst IM+ - one time fee and it combines more services that Verichat. Since MotionApps was sold, Verichat has suffered.

Im not a huge on IM on my Treo so i downloaded Toccer. Its very basic, only caters to aol im, and its free.

I test drove Agile and it certainly has some pluses beyond "free". But the non ability to run in the background just killed it for me. If it ever offers this feature, I would highly recommend this for IMing. I mean, you send a message to your bud, your waiting on your reply and the screen shuts down . . . You are disconnected! As long as all your doing is chatting, it might work. That is one thing I really like about IM+! With the ability to run in the BG, I can log on, lay the Treo down and forget that its even running, until someone sends me something . . .
