Intermittent freezes

I have been using my Treo for about a month and love it. I have been using some type of Palm device since it's beginning. My first was a PalmPilot and until the Treo I had a Palm IIIe. The only problem I am having is that at least once a day I have to perform a soft reset because my Treo freezes up. Sometimes it will unfreeze if a call happens to come in, but it freezes when I go to use it and once it froze when a call came in and I couldn't receive it. Everything is fine once I do a soft reset, but does anyone have any ideas as what might be causing this intermittent and irritating problem?

have seen various threads on this and (unless you are aware of some rogue application/crash during such inc bad txt message) ultimately the hard reset seems the easiest way to go. i'm actually thinking of doing this on a regular basis to clear some of the accumulated crapness and evil spirits out.
