Check with your carrier to see if they have you set up for access and have them confirm username and password. Try to get a level two tech.
Hello,
I recently bought a Treo 650 and I'm still learning a lot about it and getting it all set up properly. Whenever I try to access the web, it signs on for a moment then gives me a message that says "ERROR: Please check your user name and password and try again. your mobile service provider may not support dial-up connections" but I know my phone service has internet, I'm just not sure why it's not working. I get the same message for when I try to send something with 'versa-mail' too.
Any suggestions?

Just trying to learn and talk at the same time here.
Who is your carrier? Like Plunker suggested, you can call your carrier to check on your data plan. You did call your carrier and attach a data plan to your account, right?
If you are with Sprint, make sure that you have the full Sprint username in your Network preferences; on your phone, click on the icon called Preferences, then click Network. In the box username, it should be your full username@sprintpcs.com; I made the mistake of just putting in my user name that I picked and forgot the @sprintpcs.com . anyway, check the username and password there and make sure in the pull down box at the top of the Network screen, it has PCSVision showing.
