    Default Internet security

Hello all. Before I activate my web feature on my treo 650 I was wondering, how secure are smart phones? Can I get a virus? Know of any good firewalls or antivirus programs? Can hackers upload any of my personal info like contacts or my cell number? How strong is the encryption that the treo 650 uses for online passwords? TIA.

I assume you're using the default browser, Blazer. If so, it uses 128-bit SSL encryption. You're about as safe from viruses and spyware as you can get. The only virus I'm aware of for the Palm was put out by a developer in response to a crack for his software.
