Search custom rom, a few guys set up a rom but I don't think you get any big advantage from it. Oh! It voids in warrenty.

Yes, it voids the warranty. I got the utilities, even read the documentation twice and took notes, made a list of what needed to be done and stopped at that point. Success at the price of OH MY GOSH! was not appealing. Yes, if done properly, which means making sure you kept your old ROM, the chances of it going totally bad is not great. However, crap happens and when crap happens, crap has to pay.

A discussion is at http://discussion.treocentral.com/sh...ght=custom+rom - happy reading.

My caveat has nothing to do with the warranty. It has to do with the $400 paperweight you'll have if things go wrong (easily done).

Personally, I urge you to try Obfuscate or ChangeMe, little apps that hide app icons on your home screens. Obfuscate is available for download in our free downloads area (PalmOS > Treo Utilities). If you're starved for memory, move some apps to an SD card (DocsToGo can do this to itself) with PowerRun or a 3rd party launcher utility such as ZLauncher or LauncherX.

My 2¢.
