Is it worth it to try to fix it?
I bought my 650 on ebay in Oct or Nov for $90. I did get the Square Trade warranty. I'm having some of the classic problems (it is now a PDA - phone won't turn on and I have nothing on it) and have looked at many of the thread here, tried lots of different reset and update tricks.
Sooo, my big question is, IS IT WORTH IT? What are the odds, if I do manage to solve this particular problem, of having something reasonably functional? I bought it primarily for time management and secondarily for simple document handling (and of course to have it in a phone so I actually have it with me).
Does anyone know if Square Trade will touch this? Should I bother sending it in?
Should I cut my losses and buy a newer Palm (I have invested in Agendus, etc). Or totally cut my losses and get a Motorola or Blackberry?
Thanks so much for your help!

Maybe
The Square Trade warranty will not fix it for you. They will have you ship it to them then just refund your PayPal account, at least thatʻs what they did when my car stereo I EBayed broke.
Not sure which carrier for your cell phone you have but Sprint does offer insurance for a monthly fee and they do fix your phone for you. And usually there is a local service center that they send you to and as long as they have the parts in stock itʻs usually a 1 day or less service
