it's 1:50am and I don't know what my treo is doing

Somebody, anybody help. I just got my treo 650 today (unlocked/unbranded) from ebay. I put in my sk2 sim card and the first call I made went through,I had the speakerphone option and all. The treo said tmobile in the coner. Now when I place a call the phone counter starts indicating I'm connect, but I can't hear anything and there's no speakerphone option.

Also, I can't get on to the internet for some reason. I says signing in then says canceling.

I got the treo from someone who lived in florida. Should I try and reset it? There's really nothing on here from the prior user. I don't wanna call tmobile, becasue I don't think they support it.

Again, any help would be great.

try diong soft reset and a hard reset and see what happen .Also the a software that call volume care increase the volume by 75% not sure what site it is by try diong a search on it it has a 15 or 21day trail

For a soft reset, remove the battery cover, and use your stylus to press the button just to the left of the battery.
For a hard reset, press the same button while holding the power button down. Hold the power button down until you see the Powered by Palm screen. A message will come up warning you that all data will be erased, press up on the 5-way to continue. This will return your Treo to its "out of the box" state.

I did the soft reset and that didn't work. I'm trying to do the hard reset. By holding the power button and push the reset with the stylus, but it dosent reset to the message that I will be ereasing everything. Am I doing something wrong or could I just have a messed uo 650?

Here's a link with descriptions of the different types of resets. Some of them can be tricky to do (especially the zero-out reset). If you can't get your Treo to perform a hard reset after several tries, it may be defective, although I've never heard of it.
