 |  Just updated: Now I can't hotsync info from desktop BACK to palm.. I just updated my firmware on the phone... Used hotsync to back all my stuff up and I can SEE it on the Palm Desktop... Problem is I have NO clue how to move it from the desktop to my palm phone again... I read all the directions on line via Palm and following it to the T picking my profile that I have associated with it.. Does anyone have a treo 650 that could help me out? How do I get all my contacts, etc from the Palm desktop via my computer's desktop back onto the phone? I have tried setting up the custom setting to have the palm desktop OVERWRITE the palm... It still doesn't put my contacts, information..etc back onto my treo 650. This is horrible as I don't htink it should be this hard... and now I am not going to be able to use my phone tomorrow since it won't put the information back on it... After it syncs its says everything is OK.. but when I look in the phone there are NONE of my contacts :-( Any help would be awesome, thank so much in advance... Thanks, -Nigel |

|  Check the desktop conduit settings - they should either be sync or desktop overwrites device. The settings can also be altered via the hotsync icon in the system tray. Ben

| I have it so it is currently set to Desktop OVerwrite. Push the button and it goes fine. I check the Palm and none of my data is there.... Yet I can see all of my contacts, pictures, calender events..etc on the Palm desktop.. -Nigel |

| OK I am almost 100% postive I know the problem... There are TWO profiles, one Nigel Treo and one Evil Treo... All my information is on Evil Treo yet it keeps syncing with Nigel Treo that has NO info... How do I change it so my phone sees and gets Evil Treo rather than the other user profile? -Nigel |

| Make sure that the hot sync manager on your phone is set to the right user.Go into the hot sync manager and press menu, connections and select the right one. In palm desktop, hot sync manager, setup, then network and select the user there.
