Question Key Suite Issues

I purchased a new treo 650. I use KeySuite v3.3 rather that the included palm software. The installation went off w/o a problem. EXCEPT when you press the green phone/send button it defaults to the key contacts, not the dialer as it should. I cannot change this no matter what I do. Resetting the unit brings it back to the proper default dialer when I push the phone/send button. HELP any body know how to fix this?

Second issue. Any body know how to send a page from the treo with a pause so that I can automatically program in the call back number? A feature I had in my cell phone and very useful.

Marc

I'm having the same issue here. I installed keysuite V.3.3 and it's overiding the default contacts. the only way is to delete the keycontacts application and go to the palm desktop and choose Do nothing. but then I will not have all of my outlook info in to the palm... What should I do to keep both and let the Palm desktop contacts be the default dialer?

Default KeySuite v3.3 Uncoupling Issue

Luis -- The problem I origionally described in Nov 2004 was a KeySuite programming issue. The treo 650 just came out and KeySuite had not been fully tested. The most updated version of KeySuite v3.4 solves this problem. KeySuite v3.4 works fine except you still cannot voice dial from any of the voice dial programs on the market today. Hope this helps.

I upgraded from version 2.4 and it didn't have any issues, I think I'll downgrade until I get version 3.4. Thanks for the info.

Exclamation Can you progam a pause in a dial string on the 650???

This is like the third thread I have seen where the PAUSE question goes unanswered. What is the charecter for pause? I have been using pause charecters to program dial strings since the '90s. Surely the 650 can support this?

Default figured it out!

You cannot add pauses in the Contacts. You must add the # to your Favorites, edit and go to >more and add the pauses as commas in "extra digits".
