Keypad not working???

Hi I dropped my phone last night on the carpet but it hit the wall and the back covered came off but battery still in placed. So i tried using my keypad and it wouldn't type. The only thing that work is the touch screen, can somebody please help me w/ this issue? Thank you =)

I am not sure what help we can offer, but one thing to look at is if the fall caused one of your keys to stick. If a key is stuck down, no other key can work. Press each key, especially around the outer edges which would be most likely to be affected in a fall. Each key should give you a noticeable feedback (almost a click) that you feel. Stuck keys are not unheard of with a Treo.

It is also possible the fall dislodged an internal connector, but I would expect more damage to occur if it fell hard enough to dislodge a connector.

thanks, i'm at work at the moment. WIll give it a test when i get home. If it's totally broken, then i'm going to get me the iphone. Any iphone fans in here?
