Question Loose Battery Cover

I was wandering if anyone was having any issue with their Treo 650 battery cover. Mine is just a little loose so that when I type, tap on the screen or use the general navigation buttons the back (left hand side upper connection on the battery cover) is loose and makes this clicking noise. It has done this from day one, but it's gotten to the point where it's becomine annoying. I just was wandering if anyone else encountered the issue and how you may have resolved it. I thought it may be my cover and thought about ordering a new one but also think it may just be an issue I'll have to deal with.

Any help or comments would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Mike M.

Hi Hikermike! Welcome to ET! The battery cover on my 650 and now my 680 is snug and tight! No issues! I have ocasionally heard of others complain of loose covers, but I don't think its a comon problem.

Mike,
If you don't want to deal with replacing the cover, try folding a business card in half, and putting it on top of your battery before replacing the cover. That should tighten things up a bit.

The card under the case worked well for me when I got my 650, tightened it right up. As for skins, they are an answer, though not an inexpensive answer. In addition, skins are not that convenient when it comes time to reset the device, they can be a bit difficult to remove.

The business card folded is a great trick, worked perfectly, it's a little tight but is a great remedy. Thanks!

Mine so tight I am lucky to get the cover on. Must have a fat battery.
