Can you be a little more clear as to what you were "playing around with"? Are you synchronizing to Outlook or Palm Desktop? When you right click on HotSync (in tray) / Custom, what does it say?

I was messing around with wireless sync (bad idea). Have not attempted to connect to anything yet just playing around. At the bottom it said info/files/mail. I was just navigating around went back to calendar and gone.

On your computer, is your calendar info in Outlook or Palm Desktop? What you want to do is go to HotSync/Custom, select "Calendar," click on "Change," and set to "Desktop overwrites Handheld." Then do a wired hotsync, and all your data should be back on the Treo. Then you may need to go back and reset the calendar synchronization settings (using the same method) to "synchronize the files." It may revert to that automatically - can't remember for sure.

I get that. What is the difference between wireless sync and hotsync?

I really don't know. Hopefully someone here will be able to enlighten us.

The regular hotsync works for me, so my operating plan is, once it's working, leave it alone.

Thanks good idea once I start using it later in the week. I will need to make sure I get a backup program for this stuff though.

I've been using Resco Backup and it works well.
Resco Locker is also a good program if you have issues with soft resets. Since installing it and properly configuring, I've had ZERO soft resets. Highly recommended.

If you mean blue tooth or the reg. wired sync both should work the same.
