Default Lost camera facility on Treo 650

Athough thia might not be relevent a while ago I was clearing out some 'dead' shortcuts using Zlauncher. Later I tried to use the phones camera but when I pressed the camera icon, I got the camcorder instead. I tried a hard reset and updated all shortcuts from Zlauncher but still got the camcorder instead of the camera.
Have I deleted the camera app? - if so how do I get it back? Using file manager there is a CameraLib-camL library but no obvious camera app.
I would appreciate any help with this.

What you describe certainly sounds as if you have deleted something that you shouldn't have . . . I am wondering if you could find those files on your desktop app. Looking in my desktop backup folder, I am seeing Photos-Foto.PRC along with some other files. I am wondering if you might not be able to select that and reinstall.

One more thought: If you have a backup, you might be able to go to an eariler restore point and select just those camera files . . . .

    Hi stillrockin,

    Is back up buddy free?

Does it back up automatically when you sync?

Does it save everything? On your treo to a card or the PC?

I am just syncing now and I'm thinking everything is saved except my programs.

Does it back up automatically when you sync? You can set it to back after each sync, or not, or once a day at a set time, or once if you haven't performed a sync in 12 hours . . .

Does it save everything? On your treo to a card or the PC? My version saves EVERYTHING to the card. They have a version that also backs up to the PC

    Hope this helps . . .

    Thanks,

I'll look into buying it. Is it the best back up program in your opinion?

Oh! lay off the red letters in the response. I feel like a little Kid with a bad grade!!

I don't know if its the best or not . . I tried a couple out and liked them both. I think the main reason I ended up with BackUpBuddy was because Kreth said he used it! I do like it! I back up every night at 3:00AM . . Its already saved me once!

Sorry about the red letters. I was eating lunch from work and trying to answer your post . . It was faster than copying/pasting quotes . . . .
