lost my Treo 650. new one arrives later today. I had religiously backed up using backupbuddy, both to SD card (which is lost but backed up to my Mac HD) and to the Mac HD directly when syncing and running backupbuddy. I also copied the SD card to my Mac HD a month ago.

I thought I would install backupbuddy on new treo and then copy contents of old SD card onto new SD card. then do a restore using backupbuddy while treo connected to Mac.

does this sound right? any suggestions?

the only program I am worried about is TomTom Navigator, since it required a distinct "device code" during installation. any suggestions? or will my restore strategy above bring TomTom over to new treo OK?
