Make the 650 Work the Way You Do?? - Treo Forums

Is anyone else suffering the same pain? How come I can't get rid of Quick Tour and Xpress Mail icons? Or at least push them to the bottom of the icon stack?

Alas Palm says no can do and if you create a new category like AA it still won't pop up as the default since Palm believes that everyone want the All group to always pop up first.

Can anyone recommend a third party Outlook sync program that will allow me to bring over my contacts by alpha based on the "FILE AS:" field in Outlook as opposed to the 2 lame defaults in the 650?? I've been an Outlook user for ever and a 650 user for 2+ weeks. How come I have to conform to the TREO way or get rid of it???

I just went under Category and put them under Unfiled. When you cycle thru the categories, the Unfile category doesn't show. You actually have you use the drop down to get to the Unfiled category.

Are you using the 650 for Cingular? If so it's my understanding that it's in the ROM. I wound up going with the unlocked version.

Fot any one trying to get rid of these apps.....you can't unless you install a custom ROM.

Or you can try using the free app obfuscate which lets you hide them. Give it a shot.

Custom ROM are not for the faint of heart so going into that task is saying if Iscrew this up I do not mind losing my treo and creating a paperweight.

Give obfuscate a shot...its free so wht is ther to lose?
