    Default Memory issue with ROM?

Hello to all, this is my first post and first day since I have found this site.
I have a Treo 650 with Sprint, with all current updates. I have a couple of programs on my SD card that will not run. When I try to run them, I get an error that says "this program needs 648K to run (or 244k, or 786k). This occured with programs that have ran fine previously with no issues. I recently purchased a new SD card from a vendor with 50 super Nintendo games on it, when I put that SD card in, I get the same messgae. I contacted the vender and his response was:

"check your ROM memory to see how much room you have. The program loads & run in your ROM.You can transfer some of your pic. and other programs to your card to make room on the phone."

This was a little confusing to me. Any suggestions?

To check you memory, follow below.

Click your Home Button > Menu > then click the "Info" drop down menu.

This will tell you how much memory is left. Some games I have played off of my memory card have still installed files on my phone taking up internal memory. Maybe that is the case for you. I know when I played bejeweled off of my card, there was also a file on my phone.

This is not a solution I assume but at least a starting point.

My stock sprint phone from a fresh restart had for me about 20.3 megs left of 23.7 megs. If it says an extremely low number, you may have a program that is using too much memory.

I just reread your post and it appears from the vendor that what I said seems to be correct. It uses your internal phone memory. The suggestion I would assume would be to delete some 3rd party software off the phone to free up memory.

    Favorite thanks for the info

Problem solved! It appears that I had too much in the way of pictures and video stored. Easy lesson learned.

    P.S.--thanks for the help

It's the video that will kill ya. I used my camercorder a ton on the 4th and did not realize that I did not have it set to save on the card. All of a sudden I looked and my memory was gone.

Nice thing is that is extremely easy to copy them to the card.

    Default Memory Error

I seen the note in the last post about it being extremely easy to transfer to the card, which I have done in the past. however, I have an issue that I had not seen before.
I transferred, via bluetooth, some pictures and ringtones off of another phone and it appeared that everything transferred fine. I never seen a place that would allow me to copy into the memory card. Then, all of a sudden, my phone shut down and restarted. After the PALM logo came on the screen, I got an error message about "memory too full, move applications or media or delete". When that message had been up for a couple of seconds, the phone shut down and started all over again. Now, it is in a constant loop. I can not get it to allow me into the phone to move items. It is driving me crazy. Please help!
