Default MMC and SD Card Consolidation

I have a whole case full of Palm MMC cards. I have the Atari, Popcaps, Encyclopedia and several others. The issue I have is I use an 8GB card in my Treo and would love to consolidate the apps and info on these discs to my single 8GB card. When I did a small attempt before some of the apps wouldn't run and some became unliscenced. Does anyone have any ideas or hints or tips for successfully moving all of my cards to one?

Thanks

You'll probably need to contact the developers for newer versions of those apps. Depending on how old they are, you might need to pay a small upgrade fee for some, but a lot of Palm apps offer lifetime registration.

The Treo 650 does not support the use of an 8GB card. Have you otherwise been successful using it?

I have indeed had success with the 8GB card. To do it you need to hack the ROM and replace the FatFS files with the FAT32FS files. But with a little care and patience it works great.

For my specific experiences with it check out my blog:

That's exactly right. Most folks are daunted by this, and I didn't realize you were a power user. Where you been all this time?
