Motorola H700
Have anyone tried this new BT (Motorola H700) with the Treo650. I have always loved their design and the simple fact that you can just flip that boom on/off. I use to have a Motorola phone and the BT (the HB-810/20 i can't recall the model # but it was the FIRST generation) worked wonderful. When i bought my Treo650 about 2yrs ago, i could get the BT to pick up/notify me of incoming calls. I switched over the Treo 650 brand BT and that was a big mistake. Over the years, the current BT was just a disgrace. I mean BT is on and when calls come in i sometimes have to hold the phone towards my ear to talk while the BT is on the other ear. I have also had to turn off/ON the BT for it to even engage the current call. People sometimes look at me weird when trying to make the damn BT work. I have hard enough of this BT and i am ready to toss it into the trash. So, now that i have waited over 1yr and have been reading up on the current BT, what is the BEST one to use with the Treo 650???? Have anyone tried the above BT and what is your take on it. PS. I want a BT that will pickup incoming calls, it must do that at least.

I tried (key word - tried) to get an H700 to work with a 650 but finally gave up. It's not on the compatable list (see http://www.palm.com/us/support/bluet...tibility.html), which is a bummer as it's pretty cool.

I use one
I use a motorola H700 Bluetooth just fine with my Treo 650. I guess maybe by luck , the way it sounds.

The HBH-610 is a good choice. I got it about 2 weeks ago, to replace the Nokia "ear pincher" I've had since October... The Sony is a GREAT DEAL more comfortable. Sound quality is excellent. Only problems I have are the awkward AC charger connector (I feel like I'm going to break it).. and it seems to turn itself off from time to time, but I don't notice till I try to answer and get no response.... I'm not too woried though, as my Nokia did that some as well.
Again, the HBH-610 is very comfortable and has excellent sound. It is BT 2.0 compliant, so I'm crossing my fingers for a 700p to be able to take advantage of that and let me voice dial...
We shall see...

I think this is symptomatic with Sony headsets. The HBH-660 has the same connector. You almost have to "bend and snap it off" to remove it. After a few times, it's become second nature. At first, I too was concerned it would break.
One nice thing about the 660 and I'm not sure if the 610 has it, is the lanyard.

OK I'm new here. 1st post. I have update my 650 with Sprints latest updater 1.13a I think. When pairing the h700 is seen but not put in the safe or secure devices folder.
Are there any security setting anywhere? This is my 1st BT expeirence. I've been all over the net with this thing. Any help would be wonderful. Thanks in advance.

Any help keeping the Motorola headsets from auto answering?
