Movies when hotsyncing

I recently have been playing movies on my treo 650 with a 1GB SanDisk card...
I was wondering how i get the computer/treo to stop trying to mess with the .avi files that
are on the memory card, because it just pretty much freezes it up because of filesize I imagine.

I initially had this problem too... the best way is to create another folder called "movies" in the first palm folder. So there should be /dcim, /audio, and /movies. When you sync it will only go the /dcim folder where your pictures are.
You can use your card reader to put your movies in your 'movies' folder.

Barge, when I first read your post, I didn't understand the problem . . Now I know why! I am removing my card, and sticking it in the card reader on my laptop and transferring my movies directly to the card. I too, have a folder set up on the card called Movies. . . My Sync never sees it . . Also, my Movies folder on my computer is not associated with the Palm software . . .
