It is. The Treo 650 supports Bluetooth 1.1. Wireless audio via Bluetooth (A2DP profile) is supported in Bluetooth 1.2. Here's a reference from Palm's knowledge base.
There is no upgrade. Well, yes... for $500 you can upgrade to the Treo 700p when it's available!

I am using the trial version of pTunes on my Treo 650 and like it a lot - plan to register and buy it. My question is - I like having the ability to be able to bookmark my audio books and it looks like I will have to buy the Deluxe Version of pTunes in order to have that feature? Can someone confirm that? I think that would be the only reason I would have to go to the Deluxe version if that is the case - unless someone can tell me some other great features I would be gaining. Although I listen to music - I only occasionally use the the Treo for that purpose.

    Thanks (again.....and again)

There is a comparison of the features here, but the features provided by Deluxe are the following:

    • Play music from subscription services*
    • Play purchased music*
    • WMA File Support
    • Crossfade
    • Bookmarks
    • Auto-Bookmark
    • Streaming audio & ShoutCast

    * Pocket Tunes Deluxe supports all music stores that use Microsoft's Janus technology. Look for stores with the PlaysForSure logo.

    From the online manual:
Pocket Tunes Deluxe includes all the features of Pocket Tunes Basic and adds WMA playback, online music store support, crossfading, gapless playback, bookmarks, and Internet audio. The deluxe version includes free upgrades to all future 3.X versions, when available.
Maybe I should drink more coffee before posting in the morning...
