I have both TCPMP & Kinoma installed on my Palm. I also have a mpeg 4 video that I purchased along with a live concert/ bootleg. TCPMP plays the file (and the video displays very nicely) but there is no audio due to an error:
MPEG4AAC audio decoder not included, it was removed from the package installation b/c of intellectual proprty rights.
Kinoma is not able to play the video well it is choppy, jumps all around and looks bad complared to TCPMP; but the audio plays.
What gives? Why won't it play properly in Kinoma & I'm confused about the MPEG codec issue w/ TCPMP. Any input?
You could go here, click on the Palm link, download & install the AAC codec. F'rinstance. Not that I'm encouraging that. You have to decide on your own.
