Glad your music issues are resolved.
Unfortunately, I haven't used mring. Sorry!

Check the directory of your MP3s

I can see all the other standard ringtones but not when I go and click on browse SD card nothing is there... anyone familiar with mRing?
Come on Chris and lulu come to my rescue

Well, I'm not Chris or lulu, but if that's OK I'll take a stab at it.
Have you made sure your MP3s (and I'm assuming that's the music format you're using) reside in the proper directory on your SD card? mRing requires that they be stored in /AUDIO or they won't be found.
Here a link to the MotionApps article. Hope this helps.

Yea I can play them in Real Player so I should be able to see them on the card.....?
Im an idiot what is MIDI ? how will i know if the songs i have are those types of files?..

Where are they on the card?
Midi are what the built-in ringtones are. On your computer, a midi file would have a .mid extension.

Hmmm...that doesn't make sense to me. I don't have a 650, so I can't test out the software myself, but maybe someone else here could do that.

what doesnt make sense? I took the songs off my computer and put them into the Audio file (for my SD card) on my computer and then put them on the card via card reader.

Sorry, I wasn't referring to what you did. I meant that what you're experiencing doesn't make sense.

Double-check the directory
I suggest using a directory app (such as the excellent and free Filez) and confirming that your mp3s are in the correct directory for mRing to find them.
If that checks out, then be sure the files are actually mp3s (silly I know but it's worth checking...sometimes they are QuickTime files or Wave files, etc.). Also, check to see if mRing requires the presence (or absence) of the ".mp3" suffix in each file name. I've run into this one before with other music player apps.

P.S. Congratulate me: I just made "senior member." I wish that meant I knew more.
