My Screws Went AWOL!
Several of the small screws that hold my Treo together have gone AWOL, and I wanted to replace them. I found that I can buy a nice new set at http://www.gethightech.com/Merchant2...&Category_Code for $30. That seemed a bit expensive to me and I am now interested in purchasing similar screws somewhere else. Does anyone know the thread size I need? When I measured the screw I got 1.5mm or 0.059" for a thread diameter, which I think either correlates to a 0-80 or small metric size (M1.5?).

ditto
I have had the same problem on my Tungsten T3 and my Treo 650. How do they disappear inside the battery case???
We got the Torx drivers at Tractor Supply.

This post may me laugh...no offense to the posters.
I remember the first time my phone lost it's screws. It was a Panasonic from about 1997. I was at a huge music festival in my town. The music stopped, my phone rang, I pulled it out of my pocket, and the whole thing just fell apart into pieces on the ground. I swear everyone at the moment stopped, looked right at me, and laugh. Was sooooo funny now that I think about it.
It was one of those, if it could happen it will happen, life events.
Sorry to hijack your thread.

I'd suggest checking your local optician and see if they have screws that fit. If not, check out Carmine Castiglia's site which sells the screws for cheaper.

I found this forum while looking for these same screws. I found them at PDAparts.com - Palm, Treo, iPAQ, Dell Axim, Sony Clie, Visor & PDA Parts, Accessory & Repair Service for $30 i think i am getting screwed for this much. I think I will shop a bit more. I had hoped this forum would have the hook up.
