    Camera or Multimedia Mysterious Re-boot Issue

    About a month ago, my Treo 650 froze up and then entered a login loop! I had to perform a hard reboot in order to stop it...and the Treo has been behaving strangely since. In fact, it "forgot" how to beam for a day or so!

    In particular, when I complete a hotsync operation, the phone reboots, something it didn't do before the problem.

    Anyone know anything about this?

    Default Strange reboots

    If you've installed third-party apps or conduits, it may be one of those misbehaving. You may have to do another "hard-reset", and then try syncing WITHOUT restoring everything from the computer's "backup" set. If it continues to malfunction when it's running the standard as-shipped software and conduits, and you've installed any necessary "firmware" updates, that would point to a defective handset, which should be returned for replacement under warranty.

    I to had the same problem..and it was because I was installing a update to a third party app, I fixed it by deleting all the old files thne reinstalling.:wub:

    Rating or Review Rebooting Issue

    I've had them too. Same as all of you have described but my old 650 began to just shut down, log off of the network, turn back on and log back in without having to press any buttons. Phone now replaced under warranty. Never had any third party app's so that wasn't the problem!!

    When you do a hard reset, the beaming ability is turned off, until you do a soft reset or a soft reset occurs.
