I am at a loss at what you are asking me to do. I'm not a network administrator, I just own a Treo. Am I suppose to load the tool directly into the treo or on the pc where I have goodlink stored? When I do a soft reset I come up to the key pad, how do I get to safe mode on the treo? Thanks Annette

The files are .prc and those are program files for the Treo. You need to install those on your Treo using HotSync. Once installed, you should find a program called DBCache. Not having used the program, the settings mentioned above were used by a Treo 650 owner to help solve a similar issue.

Here is the translation of the website for DBcache
DBCacheTool is the tool which tries checking and clearing the information display of DBCache of NVFS which is loaded onto TungstenT5/Treo650 and being less crowded capacity.
* Quality and the point concerning cash being less crowded capacity etc. which notes are described to readme.txt. Before the introducing to read that it receives, we ask.
* In the device of the ROM update being completed, there are also times when the device becomes unstable depending upon clearing processing. That kind of case, the AUTO clear of DBCacehTool turning to a OFF, in order for clearing processing not to be executed, that it receives, we ask.

I also have trouble with dbCache filling up and everytime I try to run TomTom Navigator, I have to do a soft reset. I have dbCache installed. I would think that I have the setting set in such a way that I wouldn't have problems if dbCache is working, but I still have the problem. If I set it to auto "ON", I get a reset everytime I try to place a phone call, so that doesn't work.
