Need HELP!

Hi everyone, I'm in need of help. After taking pictures on my treo I started getting an error message c:\build\release\maxwell\4_50_0\build_65\client server\gx\system\src\palm\gxdev pal m. cpp;238\GX_ASSERT in ffs2.cpp @1434

I have to pull battery to reboot. Any ideas what to do????

Which Treo are you using? 650?

From what I've read, it appears it's a cache issue. The cache fills up causing the error. Here's a program that flushes the cache after it reaches a certain level.

I want to load down that patch you sent me, I went to read the text file hoping it would give me the instructions and I'm unable to read it. It's written in Japanese and no matter what encoding I choose I still cannot read.Can you send me instructions to aburks@pamida.com? Pleeeaasseeeeee

It's not a patch, but rather a tool to remove cache. I don't use the program, but I've seen folks reference your issue and have it resolved by using this program.

Here are settings I picked up on the web:
Clear type db safe mode enabled
Auto clear on, Clear at soft reset enabled.
app stop enabled
free if less than 7m
(Since freeing up rom, I start with 9200k +)
