Question Need help with problem after firmware update

I recently purchased a Treo 650 on ebay. It is an unlocked Cingular GSM and I am using it with T-mobile service. Shortly after purchase, I discovered I needed a firmware update, which I completed. However, there is one little glitch that has resulted. My Photo's application seems to have been affected in that the icon is now a little blue cube and it says "Photos-Foto". In addition, when I tap the screen to view my photo's I get this message: The application cannot be launched because it is missing localization information. Does anyone out there have any help on how to resolve this issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Welcome to ET.

Here's a snippet from Palm regarding the issue you are experiencing...

If you are upgrading from a previous device that included the Palm Photos application, the new Media application may be overwritten by the Photos application in RAM. This application will show up as Photos-Foto and cannot be deleted from the handheld using the Delete command in the App menu.

and here's the solution from Palm.

Enjoy the site and your new Treo 650!
