Default Need To Re-install OS, But Disc Is Damaged

I need to do a re-install, and checked the Palm site for a download, and nothing. The disc is definitely history. Can't make copy, disk image nothing. Any suggestions? Any help is appreciated.

I did a search before posting, but was looking for something specific. Will the hard reset do the same or similar to re-installing OS? My main problem is that several of the apps are not working at all. Should I back -up and reset first?

Not sure if I understand your situation. Your Treo's acting up and you want to do a hard reset? So far, so good. Do a hard reset and add your apps back one at a time, to check for stability.

Is the Palm Desktop on your computer also messed up? What exactly are you referring to when you say the "OS"?

I think this user is talking about not having the Palm Desktop Software disk. I have seen it for download at Palm's website.
