    Default New to treo 650

Just wanted to get that intial first post done with. I just go my treo 650 (still charging as i type this) trying to find random things to do to pass time till its done. so far all i've got for it is FileZ, and some new on/off screens to ad some personality to the phone. I'm going to be using this phone to hopefully help me organize my life a little bit and for my profession (Realtor). any suggestions on freeware apps that can help me get things moving initially would be a big help. (i've got a couple of progs i'm looking to purchase down the road but just starting out in real estate money is really really really tight right now so i've got to get myself settled in first before i can go spend anymore money anything)

If you respond to this thread you'll find a tutorial on how to add ringtones to your Treo and set up Ringtones for your callers. (and it's free). I'd be careful about adding too much "freeware" at the get go. Good shareware programs.. Butler, TreoGuard..to name a few.

.....and congrats on your Treo. Once you sell a few houses, I'd use that commission on a TomTom Navigation system. I figure you're driving quite a bit -- and the TomTom will save you a ton of time (and you'll never get lost).

yeah i will be actually i'd say 90% of the driving i know were i am around my general area of working (Kansas City is a big area but that and the surrounding areas are pretty easily navigable for the natives) hardest part is we're redeveloping our downtown area so even if you have gps navigations its might not do too much good cause they have a lot of roads completely shut down

To get you started, here's a special offer to get SplashID free.
Also, TCPMP is a free movie player that is quite stable.
AvantGo is a great free program to convert websites for offline viewing. You can use this to sync information that you regularly need to see (schedules, etc).

I haven't used this in years. Does it offer NYC train schedules?

As long as there is a website that lists the schedules, you can add it to AvantGo.
    P.S.
Do the NYC trains actually run on a sched?
