new to treo from sidekick
Hey people i am goinng to try out the treo 650 for a while. I currently have a sidekick 3 and a reg phone (two diff services) and am tired of having 2 phones.
Here's what i hope to do with the treo and if you all could tell me what apps to get i don't want to keep on getting them and not use them.
I wannna be able to:
listen to mp3s
browse the internet
IM on yahoo,aol and msn
text message
email
voice calls
maybe some games
and maybe like an alarm clock program
what do you think would be good programs to get?? thanks for the advice1!

VersaMail is included, but many have problems with it. Commercial alternatives include SnapperMail and ChatterMail.
There are literally hundreds of games for the PalmOS. It all depends on what type of games you like.

TreoAlarm will do alarms, and also download weather forecasts.
All of the above programs can be found in the ET store.

hell yeah man i hate sidekicks all my friends have them thats why i went with a treo 650. you can do sooo much more with treos than a sidekick. not only that but the screen resolution is waaaay much better. you'll be glad you switch. all that you said you wanted, you can do, plus more. trust me, you'll fall in love.
