Default New Treo Users from Austin, Texas and some questions

Hello everyone, I just wanted to introduce myself, my name is Rey from Austin, Texas. My wife and I just bought a Sprint Treo 650 each, so we both are fairly new to the Treo family. We absolutely love the phones!!! I had been lurking here for a while reading and learning. It was this site that sealed the deal on what phone it was exactly we wanted, so thanks.

Also, I have somewhat a peculiar question; a friend of ours gave us a $400 spring gift card and I would like to apply it to our bill, but it seems I keep getting the wrong answer . Customer Service after the 4 time I called to speak to someone different, seems to have been reading a script that said gift cards are only good for phones, accessories and “service”. They were having a hard time elaborating on what services meant (doesn’t surprise me). Anyhow, anybody know a way to do that, before I go to a store???

    Thanks
    Rey

I would this that your bill is for service.

If the gift card can be applied towards service, then I see no reason why it wouldn't work.

But, Sprint never ceases to amaze me!

You may be able to pay online (sprint.com), or you could try walking into a Sprint store and talking to a manager. $400 is $400 no matter what form it's in. Your the customer, make sure they know that!
