    Default New User in (I think) deep trouble!

    I juts bought a Cingular Treo 650. I am upgrading from a Sony Clie PEG UX-50. I thought I followed the instructions for upgrading from one device to another, but along the way, I apparently synced the two devices with the same user name! Now, I have the data I want on the Sony Clie, but it simply does not appear on the desktop or on the Treo. I do not want to perform a hard reset on the Clie (as Palm recommends) because I fear I will lose my good data. I've been trying to figure this out for hours and can't think straight anymore. PLEASE HELP!

    P.D.: I also use Agendus Pro (Palm and Windows editions) and Intellisync to sync with Outlook, in case this sheds any light on my problem...

    Start from scratch by resetting the Treo, and uninstalling the Palm desktop for the Treo. Then reinstall again and follow the directions you were using, with distinct user names.

    Is that the sync program for the Treo or your other palm? Only uninstall all programs related to the Treo for now to make sure that you don't lose your existing data.
