Yes, there are two different contact databases. However, if your IT guys are removing the Palm software, that won't be the case.

The only way you can do what you hope is to find a way to sync your mac address book database with your goodlink database. Honestly, I'm not sure how to do that since I use Entourage.

I have a few entries from my Entourage address book added to my Goodlink (Exchange) address book, but unless you're willing to delete the ones off your local address book, it will result in duplicate entries (in Entourage, at least).

However, the Goodlink database is essentially the same as whatever server you're using at at work (in my case, Exchange). If you have a method to sync your mac at home to pc at work already, then all of that info should sync to your treo.
