No Caller ID?

Whenever someone calls me it says "No Caller ID" on my screen. Why is that? Why can't I see the number? I always see them on other phones. Do I have to activate caller ID? How do I do that?

your caller id should have been connected when you got your services. i would call whatever provider you got and tell them that your caller id dont work. if it does work then its on the callers end and he has his number blocked and there is no way around that except by saying "yooo man turn your caller id on or i aint picking up next time and you can forget about the 100 bucks i owe you"
they allways turn it on after that.

For Caller ID to work, it needs your contact/sim information to show you the Caller ID. If you have your contacts listed either in your contacts on your Treo, or on your Sim card, it should show up.

Even if it's not showing names, it should still be showing any numbers that aren't blocked. I think monizk's right, and the carrier didn't activate his callerID.

Did you happen to install any new applications? I installed Volume Care 5.59 and it caused this error on my phone. As soon as I deleted it (on recommendation form an online forum) my caller ID began working perfectly as always.

The forum did recommend that an older version (4.44) would work and not cause this issue with a 600.
