    i have no card for my treo 650-can i still add stuff to it?

    Certainly, but you'll be limited by the ~23 MB of on-board memory available.
    I'd urge you to get a card if only for backup purposes. They're pretty affordable these days. You can pick up a branded 512 MB SD card for aroung $35.

    lol. yea i'm definetly going to get a card. i just wanted to see what i could add right now while im sitting at work bored. i tried to put some music onto it but it kept saying no card. that's why i was wondering

    Hi:

    You can add programs, but without a card I don't think you will be able to add music. You won't have enough free memory.

    But I have been wrong before...

    SteveTaz is right on both counts. Music (.mp3's, .wav's) must live in the AUDIO folder, at the top level of your SD card. Not that you'd want them in your Treo's RAM: an average song in .mp3 format at 128 kbps bitrate is about 4 MB. 5 of those on your Treo and you've got no room for anything else! And forget .wav files which are uncompressed; you could squeeze in about 2 1/2 minutes of music.

    if you shop around a little you can get a good price on one. I would recommend Amazon, i got a new 2GB card for 40.96 shipped
