    Default not charging autmatic shut down when not plugged in

    treo 650 not holding charge,butt shows charging butt never holds it . It gives automatic shutdown when not plugged in to house or car charger . I have changed battery please give adivce besides new cellphone if you have any thank you

    Did these symptoms just suddenly appear? Have you changed anything lately? Have you tried any kind of resets, etc. to this point? I have heard of this happening and being related to 3rd party apps, but not this drastic! Usually full to dead in about 20 minutes. I would try a hard reset and possibly a battery meter recalibration. Let us know if this helps . . .

    one day worked next didnt. I did a soft and hard reset. I will try recal battery

    When you take it off the charger is the light green? Fully charged or is it still red?
