I haven't used them very much, but I found PenpenCol quite neat,It allows different views of your notes like thumbnail which can be quite handy.

Just give them a whirl and see which one suits your requirements and let everyone know what you think of the ones you've tested.

Agreed! Those feebees are exactly what I was looking for. Well, "exactly" may be strong as I have yet to load on a 650 and test. But, form this vantage point, looking good.

    Thanks for the links, all.

And I'll post results when I have them.

Note It it looked great when I first downloaded, but after using it a few minutes it caused the 650 to shut down completely. I tried it again and it did it the same thing. I have removed it from my 650. I have to admit that I found the installation process to be a bit tricky and I may have screwed that up.

I am now using PenPen and so far so good. The colors are better than Note Pad in my old Tungsten C. It only seems to be missing my old Tungsten's direct e-mail capability. At least you can save it to the card and then e-mail it.

Thanks again for all your help.

I missed Note Pad, which I had on my old Tungsten T2 - if you still have an old Palm with it included, you can just use Filez to copy the Note Pad files from ROM to SD card and then install them on your Treo. I've done that for Note Pad and Voice Recorder - the T2 versions of both run fine on my GSM 650.

    Default note pad

I have a Tungsten C that has the NotePad. After downloading FileZ and unlocking all the Notepad files in the Tungsten, I beamed them to my Treo 650. The notepad icopied exactly the same as my notepad in the Tungsten.

One glitch: I can't email the notes. When I click on send, I get an error message that says

    Could not load PNG library

I haven't been able to find the PNG library on my Tungsten so I could beam that also. Anyone have any suggestions??? Anyone???? Buehler??

P.S. Kimmy, watch yourself around that Scannel character......
