IMing with the Palm sounds interesting. I don't have Verizon's data plan. How would it work? Use normal phone minutes? Do you have to be connected to internet all the time for it to work? I have the same questions for Chatter or Snapper, too.

Depending on the chat client, it may use SMS to send messages. On Sprint this is a separate service you have to have on your plan (or pay ad hoc). I'm not sure about Verizon.
Your e-mail client will only have an active connection when you're retrieving or downloading e-mail. You need to keep this in mind when you configure how often the client retrieves mail, as on a CDMA network (Sprint and Verizon), any calls will go to voicemail while a data connection is active.

Yes, he is great, but somewhat elusive around town. He has not been out a lot lately - as in the past few years. I hear he is doing studio work and actually doing more singing. I'll see what I can do for you!
