Is your bluetooth enabled, or is your phone connected to a data network? Both of these will eat up your battery life rather quickly...especially the bluetooth.

How old is your battery? Maybe it could stand a replacement.

I just got the phone two weeks ago today.....so it is brand new...... but if I let it sit there it will be dead by the next morning....so I guess that means a 24 battery...I do not have bluetooth on.... but I did think of that... I do believe that I maybe hitting the phone when bending over and such.. (i am a big guy) and when you make contact with the buttons, the phone lights up for a bit.....maybe that is it.... oh well, I can deal with it for the most part, but adding it to the rest of the issues (gmail still doesn't work) it is killing me) I do not want to go back to blackberry!

    thanks for your time

Do you have the screen where it stays on all the time?

Under prefs power setting mine is set to go off after a minute and my phone is good for two days with pretty heavy usuage.

Other wise like stated before, take back the battery. One other thing when you do charge over night do you have a solid green light (full Charge) or is it still chargeing?

When you charge overnight is your phone completely charged? (green light) You may have a problem with your charger or connection.

I would just say yours must be defective. I have nothing installed other than TCPMP to watch movies. If I don't use my phone at all, after 24 hours I have only lost maybe 10% of the battery life. I even spent about 6 hours running movies on my phone and only burned about 40-50% of battery life.
