Default Palm OS vs. Windows Mobile

    Hi,

I used to have a Treo 650 GSM with Fido. I discontinued service with them and swicthed to Bell mobility which is CDMA.

I want to buy a 700p or 755p and have it activated on Bell Mobility but could only find available the 755w version.

My question is : I prefer the Palm OS desktop vs. Microsoft Outlook. If I buy the 750w or 755w version, am I forced to use Outlook whenever I hotsync or can I keep the Palm Desktop?

    Thanks for the help.

I do not know anything about the windows based treos and you might post a thread there for your answer.

I did look under a 750w for bell and looked at software (palm desktop). It looks like to me even with windows you have the option to sync with outlook or palm desktop.

I would confirm that before buying.... You are asking about syncing and not operating systems???
