Phone Froze when I tried to answer a call!

OK - maybe this isn't a problem, but I really was alarmed by this:

My phone rang - the caller id read: "Blocked Caller ID." I ran to pick up the phone, pressed the green button, and nothing happened. Pressed the touch screen, even though I have touchscreen disabled for calls, and nothing happened. Tried to hang up the phone by pressing the red button - NOTHING happened! It just kept sitting there telling me to answer the call...

SO I pulled out the battery and reset the thing. Turns out that the caller sent me a text message, or so I assume, since it came in at the same time.

Anyone experience this, or know what happened?

I think you nailed it. I get this when I have incoming texts and calls at the same time, too. I usually do a soft reset. If I leave it long enough, it will reset on its own.

Out of curiosity, which network are you on?

does this happen quit often...or just that time???
