You should download and install the IBM Java VM.
You can download it here: http://www.palm.com/us/support/jvm/
This will allow your Treo to use the Java apps and games.
    All the best !

I usually upload the .jar files from my pc to my treo via IR. When the upload is complete the IBM Java VM on my treo automatically asks if I want to install the uploaded file. When installation is complete, if I want to use the Java app or game I just open the IBM Java VM and it presents to me a list of all the java apps or games that have been installed. Just select which one you want and start it.

I tried to upload some java apps to my treo using the software Palm One quick install but it said that there are no application on my treo that support this file !!!

I did some research... please read the following (from :http://mytreo.net/forum/index.php?PH...ic=5285.0;wap2 )

If you wish to install from a SD Card (e.g if you want to copy large JAVA Games to your SD Card to save GPRS/Internet Charges...)...Launch Blazer , and hit the WWW Icon , now

type this depending where is your JAVA File located)

file://jar.jar (of course it may be vary , depending on your file name , where its located , etc , its actually the somewhat of installing MIDI Files from a SD Card)

Let me know how you're going on....
    All the best !

A third party launcher will go a long way toward saving memory when using Java on a 650. ZLauncher has the ability to work with multiple Creator IDs, meaning it can be set to place the Java support files in the same folder as the Java game and launch all of them from the card and upon proper termination of the game (meaning no reset), moves everything back to the card. This option can save you about 1.5mb of device memory.
