    Default Playing tunes through bluetooth

Hi, I'm new to this forum, so if this question has been answered umpteen times, I apologize.

I have a new ski helmet that is bluetooth enabled, and supports both phone functions and music functions. It works great with the phone, but I can't get the bluetooth to kick in for the music. Right now, Real Player is the music player and I can find anywhere to get that to use the bluetooth function, so I am assuming that it is not supported with Real Player. Do I need to use another player? Any suggestions?

The helmet uses the Motorola S805. The instructions say that the bluetooth-enabled cell phone has to have A2DP for music and HFP for the phone.

    What should I do?

    Thanks in advance.

I believe there is a device that plugs into your headphone jack that then uses the bluetooth version that you need to get music to your helmet.

The downside (very big downside) is the jack is not very strong and if you bang it you will probably disable your treos speakers. Do a search here on jacks and bluetooth music for more details.

So if I get Softick Audio Gateway, I can still use the Real Player, or will I need a new player as well?

    Thanks.

I just installed Bluetooth-Audio Gateway on my 700p and it states that the Blue Ant X3 does not support the requested protocol service. It recognizes the X3 as being an A2DP device and I hear the initialization tone.

Ok, so I downloaded this and got it to my phone (I think.....Vista and some other crap is making it difficult). When I go to the Apps section and click on it, it does a soft reset (at least that's what I think it is) on me phone.

    Any ideas?

Sorry I had the impression that the app needed a dongle to work. I guess it does not. I use an fm converter to play music (audio books from the treo to the stereo.

If I have time I'll do a search here for music bluetooth. I am pretty sure others have gotten it to work. Maybe with a different app than Ben tried.
