PLEASE HELP... TREO 650 with PHT PADLOG

PLEASE I NEED HELP....:angry::angry::angry::angry:

I Bought a TREO 650 but it's come with a Software call PHT PADLOG...

I Need to take it out from my phone, 'cause It dont let me do nothing...

the phone boot with Palm Logo, then PHT logo and stay there... just say... Assign logpad.... and ask for code...

Please... How Can I Reboot this treo... I already try Hard Reset.... all kind of Reset and do nothing...

I Wonder if is possible change Treo OS trought USB Cable..

PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF, ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE... if not.. I will have to discart this phone...

A hard reset will wipe out any 3rd party software on the phone. Are you sure you did it right?

Hi there.. thanks for answer....

Yes.. I did it... Hard Reset... but again... the Treo 650 boot as normal... first PalmOne Logo.. then, Palm (blue logo).. and then... PHT Logo... and then, the last screen that is where the phone stay....

I already Try HARD RESET... RESET NORMAL.... and always the treo boot again like if nothing happen...

If you do a hard reset, you should get a confirmation screen which says "Erase all data?" You're not seeing this?

EDIT: OK, I did a little research, and it looks like PHT deploys that software as a custom ROM, which is why a hard reset isn't working. I'd try and get a refund from the person that sold it to you. You could flash the ROM, but that can be a pain if you're not familiar with the process.

Yes.. in fact, when I do the HARD RESET, it runs ok... a screen show where it ask me to erase all data, then press up button to erase all.. and then, the treo reboot... but again... it start all over again, PalmOne logo, Palm blue logo, PHT logo, and then, the last screen that I already Upload...

believe me... I've tried all the RESET MODES that PALM SITE shows... and nothing.... I think that maybe that PHT CORP install his software over Palm OS.... I'm not sure....

I don't know what else to do... it's Sad, cause I would like to keep this phone.. but If nothing can be done... I'll have to throw it...

OK... that I Think will work...

I already tried ROMTOOL... and I was able to download all Rom files to my pc... and then, upload again to the phone..

I think what I need to do, is Change the Treo PHT ROM.. for a PALM Original ROM...

If you know how can I do this... let me know pleasee...

That's going to be a problem. Palm doesn't make the ROM images available. I'd check where you got Romtool and see if anyone would be willing to give you their image.
