PLEASE PLEASE help me get audio on TCPMP - Treo Forums

I am so frustrated with this I am driven to tears. I followed all the directions to get TCPMP to work and I have video but no audio. I tried installing the tcpmp_aac_plugin and it still wont work. I tried downgrading from .71 to .66 by installing .66 without removing .71 because I have no idea how to unistall it. Please help me someone. I know it's silly to be so upset but I've just been trying so hard to get it work that it's frustrating to keep failing when I'm almost there.:sad:

Click on the HOME button, then MENU button (above email button). Select Delete and then select the application you'd like to delete.

I remember having the same trouble, but it was the AAC plugin that i needed. Hang in there...once you get it working, you'll be amazed how great the app is and it's free.

try using the Uninstall Manager to remove TCPMP then make a fresh install...hope this helps.

Where can I find the aac plug in for tcmp? I installed the current version and it's removed from the installation files. I realize its Apple's proprietary format. I don't have sound when playin 3gp files in tcmp. Appreciate any help.

it depends...what version are you using?

there is no aac plugin for that version. the developer removed it due to legality reasons. try v.66 it has the aac plugin....

Bosbik, thanks to you I now have sound! This app is great. I spent the afternoon ripping dvd's to load up my 1 gig card. Waiting at the doctor's office won't be nearly as painful now. Thanks again for your help.
