So i've had my t-monile 650 for a day or two now .went from a MDA windows baised to palm .I have been looking all over the net for free stuff or share ware , i ain't got a thing .

I think I may have a game or two i will post up for anyone who dosen't have it .Why pay someone for something they got for free.Its just not fair , im not paying 14.99 to have my treo louder, im just going to trade someone for it .As soon i get some free stuff i will post and i HOPE you do the same !

Hack'em up then post them up

Ask what kind of program you want and someone will point you in the right direction. I few programs (games) came on my palm cd.

Don't know how many guys here are involved with testing or developing software here but you may get flamed on the hack em part.

If you're looking for freeware, check out this site. There are others, as well. Just do a search for palm and freeware.

If you have an app that's freeware, post a link to where someone can get it. If you recommend a shareware (not free) program, post that link too. As for "trading apps", that wouldn't work even if it was right. Paid apps are specific to a person's hotsync ID; that's why you give up your hotsync ID when you download.

I'd venture to say it's not happening...at least not here. What keeps developers working for us is paying them for their work when we use it. Most apps offer free trials of 14 days to a month so you can test-drive and see if something's really for you. My advice to you is to take advantage of those trial periods and give up on the getting over.

Your statement, "Its just not fair" really burns most of us. Users like you are not fair to the developers that we here in these forums support. I do pay $14.99 and even more for an application that I find useful.

hi ben , why should you have to pay for somehting that another got for free , how is that right ? my first post and you go right out and flame me . Im just looking to see whats out there .Windows mobile is great you can find just about anything and yes it is free .
No i doin't know how to add games to my 650 im still really green about it , the only freeware or something like that right now would be a way to make the voulume on the ear peice louder anyone know any places to find those ?
also i have gone over some OLD hreads trying to find trouble tips on hot sync my treo to pc , right now it will sync but im unsure on how and where to drop files ?

Cain't wait untill cingular comes out with the 700w, i hear they are doing beta for the sim stuff

The passing around of commercial/shareware is unethical and illegal. I pay. The overwhelming number of people here and at similar forums pay. Am I flaming you? Not at all. You have not seen me flame yet.

I am more than willing to provide help to any person that has a legitimate problem. I have been known to forward files to people; however, at no time I have ever passed a registered file or given a password or whatever to that file.

If you need help, ask it in a legitimate manner and help will be given. If you want to do warez, then find someplace else to go to.

Why should you have to pay or something that another got for free? Hmmmm....that sure sounds like someone anxious to be sure that the rightful owner of a program is properly compensated. Circular logic? I suppose that if your neighbor goes to the mall and shoplifts two iPods and offers you one, that would be okay? After all, he got it for free....

"Looking to see what is out there" also has the ring of honesty to it, doesn't it?

Perhaps the reaction is due to the way you presented yourself. Want to start over?

In an ideal society, maturing individuals pass through your child-logic phase and evolve into people with morals. These people know that the rightness of a behavior is not determined by the number of other people doing it. What that "another" did is called stealing. He didn't put a gun to the owner's head, but it's stealing just the same. If you're sohpisticated enough you can read about intellectual property here.

I have an idea. Let's all follow your idea of fair, and hold up electonics stores. I mean hey, other people have done it, and now they have free TVs. Why should we have to pay for something they got for free?

The answer to your question, my child, is that the principles of paying for something when you're supposed to, of doing the right thing because it's right, is the moral fabric upon which decent societies are founded. Littering, cheating, neglecting to vote, and yes, stealing software even if someone else is doing it are all failures of personal responsibility. Do you have honor? Show us and act like it. Don't understand any of this? I hope some day you will. Perhaps after your car is stolen.

If you have any problems at all, with your Treo, many here will do their best to help you. But you will have trouble finding anyone on this forum to help you rip off any Treo developer.
