power on/off sounds and pics

Hey,

does anyone know how to change the power on/off sounds and pics that the treo 650 uses?????

I do believe those are hardwired into the basic system software. It might be possible to hack the system, but there is no preference you can just change like the phone's ringtone.

Not sure how to change the sounds, but there is a program called "Skinner" that will change dial pad skins and splash logos...cheers.

The pictures you can change with some info from Shadowmites website. The sound I dont think you can change. Here's what mine looks like when the phone portion is turned on:

as for some pics.....(not that many options but at least a change)........head over to Shadowmite's site (click here) and just download the file and hotsync it to ur phone..............

thats all i got tho..........sorry..........i was wondering the same thing earlier

with my motorola v3 i know you could make ur own start up and shutdown animations but i think this is a little more complicated.........

There's probably a config file somewhere on the Treo but it would most likely require flashinf the ROM so I would stick with a 3rd party app in this situation. Something like this isn't woth ruining your phone over.
