    Default Power on, power off

    My Treo 650 continues to power on, then immediately power off. It then continues to repeat the process. The only way to stop it is remove the battery. I have tried the reset button to no avail. Any thoughts?

    When you remove the battery does it work the way it should for a while? Have you tried a hard reset?

    Finally did a hard reset and it solved the problem. But went I tried to re-install the application it did the same thing. I called the application software company and they said it was a Palm problem and not their software. Is there any way that could be true if it only happens when I install their software?

    which application is giving you the problem?

    If it happens only with that specific application, then someone else has a work around for it. I also would like to know the name of the application. Ben

    I would think that if it happened when you re-installed the app, that the app is the problem. As the rest of the crew wants to know...what was the app? Chances are that one of us has used it.
