Need more info on this one. Are you on the verizon network too? Some networks sending of receiving require ten numbers not just seven. Also if the area codes have changed they need to have the one programmed in your phone.

    Or a Carrier problem

If they are getting the message that they cannot connect to network the problem is there phone not yours. If you cannot connect to the internet you need to get with your carrier.

Not sure how they are sending pics to you but you may need a data plan to receive them. Again more info on your carrier....Sprint sends I link and you connect to sprints pic mail and you can veiw or download from there.

You are making an assumption you shouldn't. Picture messages (MMS) are not included with most plans and you really should be cehcking with Verizon. Troll their site and the plans to see what is included. I do believe MMS messages are generally data and if your plan is disabled that would explain it.

Besides, Verizon likes to charge for everything. They may have changed the plans recently. I do recall seeing something about data plans not including MMS, but that may have been added. Sprint may have done the same thing.

Since there are so many different plans and we don't know what you signed up for Verizon is the one to answer this.

Ok.....Steves advice is the best which was to check with your carrier. But lets try and trouble shoot. Most carriers will let you use a data plan or no plan and charge you a fortune for it. Can you access the internet with your phone? If you can it may still be a restriction of your plan with receiving pics. If you cannot access the internet at all, your phone is restricted or not set up to surf.
Going back to Steves advice the quickest way is to contact your carrier's level two support..
